About the Role
Join a team of six physicians at the Cascade Medical Centre, a full-service primary care clinic attached to Princeton General Hospital. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to shape a diverse, rewarding practice. General practice typically includes clinic, emergency, inpatients, and long-term care.
- Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 24/7 ER coverage with on-call contribution required (ED or Doctor of the Day)
- Those not doing ER shifts are responsible for their own inpatients
- Emergency Department sees approximately 17 patients per day
- Overhead: $5,000–$6,000 per month
- Medical student/resident teaching opportunities available
- Addictions medicine practice available if desired
- PALS/ACLS/ATLS are assets but not mandatory
- Flexible options to accommodate a full-time Emergency Physician
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated Gross Income: $400,000–$600,000
Alternate Payment Plan (APP) for the ED: The compensation rate for a 1.0 FTE in the ED is $366,046. Compensation varies based on ED FTE.
- Recruitment bonus: $20,000
- Relocation: $9,000–$15,000 (based on move location)
- Fee premium: 15.23%
- Retention bonus: $23,594.40 annually
- Rural CME: Up to $5,720/year after 4 years
- Student loan forgiveness programs may apply
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
- CMPA coverage required
- CCFP-EM not required
