About the Role

Join our team as an Outpatient Primary Care Physician in Florida, focusing on Medicare Advantage patients. This role emphasizes prevention, wellness visits, proactive outreach, same-day urgent care, and transitional care management with smaller patient panels of 12-15 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care with a focus on value-based, patient-centered practices.
• Conduct wellness visits and proactive patient outreach.
• Manage same-day urgent care and transitional care needs.
• Utilize EMR systems and adhere to ICD-10 coding and STAR measures.

Work Environment

State-of-the-art outpatient facilities with minimal hospital work, designed to support a value-based care approach.

Requirements

• Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
• Active Florida Medical License and DEA certification.
• Up-to-date CPR certification (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Satisfactory TB test.
• Experience managing complex cases.
• Experience in Medicare Advantage or accountable care settings is a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency in EMR systems and ICD-10 coding.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
