Family Planning Specialist

Position: Complex Family Planning Specialist, with consideration for Director of Family Planning.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive reproductive healthcare, including full-spectrum OB-GYN and family planning services across clinic, OR, and L&D settings. Engage in clinical care, teaching, supervision, and perform 1st and 2nd trimester procedures with dedicated OR days. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in faculty education, and support patient autonomy within a structured environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Board-certified or eligible OB-GYN with expertise in family planning procedures. Strong clinical skills, teaching ability, and commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to work within an academic setting and collaborate with support staff.

Key Duties

• Deliver outpatient, inpatient, and operative OB-GYN and family planning care
• Perform surgical procedures and manage complex cases
• Contribute to teaching and supervise trainees
• Maintain a balanced schedule with limited call obligations and dedicated recovery days
• Participate in faculty development and collaborative initiatives
