Family Physician - Full -time MFM Express

About the role

MFM Health is seeking a Full-time Family Medicine Physician to join their new MFM Express Care clinic in Middleton, MA. This role is designed for a physician who excels in a fast-paced setting and prioritizes timely, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day sick visits and acute care assessments for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses such as flu, infections, and respiratory conditions
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies for acute care needs
• Update and maintain accurate patient medical records in the EMR system
• Collaborate with and oversee care provided by mid-level providers, signing off on encounter documentation as appropriate
• Coordinate care, referring patients to specialty services when necessary
• Educate patients on preventive care, health risks, and wellness strategies
• Perform other duties related to patient care as assigned

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school
• Current Massachusetts medical license (Board of Registration)
• Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration

• EMR proficiency and comfort with technology
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team
