About the role
The role involves providing support to families in need of permanency solutions, including adoption and guardianship.
Responsibilities
- Assist families in navigating the adoption process
- Provide counseling and support to families seeking permanency
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop comprehensive family plans
- Document progress and outcomes for each case
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in social services or related field
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations
- Experience with case management software
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
