About the role

The role involves providing support to families in need of permanency through counseling, advocacy, and coordination of services.

Responsibilities

  • Counseling families facing challenges related to family permanency
  • Advocating for the best interests of children and families
  • Coordinating services such as housing, education, and healthcare
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to relevant parties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in family services or related field
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Effective time management and organizational skills

Pay
