About the role
The role involves providing support to families in need of permanent homes. This includes assessing family situations, coordinating with social services, and advocating for children’s best interests.
Responsibilities
- Assessing family situations and needs
- Collaborating with social services and other agencies
- Advocating for children’s best interests
- Coordinating with foster care providers
- Maintaining case records and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in child welfare or social work
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations
