About the role
The Harbor Area Family Resource Center (FRC) is seeking a Family Partner for its Chelsea-based location. This role requires experience raising a child or youth with significant mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Documents activities provided daily in medical records
- Facilitates Family Support groups
- Auxiliary in transporting families to FRC or other community locations
- Performs program specific duties and functions
- Participates in agency committees
- Provides on-call coverage and crisis intervention as needed
- May require a valid driver’s license, clear driving record, and personal vehicle availability for use during work hours
Qualifications
- May or may not have program specific experience
- Excellent cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software applications
- Bilingual Spanish or other languages strongly preferred
- Required to come from the community with “lived” experience with family members
