About the role
Join us as a Family Office Analyst (FOA) to join our Capital Partners, multi-family office (MFO) team in Philadelphia. This role serves as a part of the "trusted advisor" team to clients by combining asset allocation and investment advice with trust and estate planning issues and specialized lending services.
Responsibilities
- Support the Relationship Manager (RM) by serving as the primary contact point for both high-net-worth clients and endowment & foundation clients.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the RM’s client base and ensure that client needs are met and that BBH services are properly delivered.
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers to obtain prospects by helping to organize marketing events and by developing personal and professional networks.
- Aid in presentations for client meetings on specific client information such as holdings, capital activity and performance in client accounts.
- Participate in prospect and client meetings, including discussions surrounding our service offerings.
- Execute core portfolio activities on behalf of the RM, serve as the primary interface on behalf of clients with the central management teams within BBH, and troubleshoot client account issues.
- Manage administrative tasks such as account reviews/approvals, documentation, meeting materials, address or name changes, and performance evaluations.
- Elevate all at-risk issues to the RM or OM and ensure total compliance at the account level.
- Document start of relationship (e.g., new account documents, fee schedule) and maintain accurate client account materials.
- Manage self (e.g., time tracking, progress notes and self-assessments) to develop professionally and personally by utilizing internal resources at BBH.
- Take on additional special projects across the firm (e.g., compliance projects across BBH).
- Stay informed about internal/external market activity and be well-read and conversant on economic and political news.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge concerning investment management, banking, trust and estate planning, specialized lending services, and overall market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of industry experience required
- Demonstrated interest in the Wealth Management field
- Client service experience and aptitude strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and written/oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- CFA certification or a demonstrated interest in pursuing a CFA a plus
