Family Nurse Practitioner Position in Phoenix - 48th St/ McDowell- Full-time

About the role

Terros Health is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our McDowell Health Center location in Phoenix, AZ. This position is part of a leading healthcare organization committed to integrity, compassion, and empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physicals/check-ups, medical evaluations, diagnostics, treats illnesses, orders lab tests, provides general and preventative care, prescribes and monitors medications, coordinates with other providers, makes specialty care referrals, educates patients about preventative care, establishes therapeutic relationships with a variety of patients for the purpose of establishing and reaching appropriate treatment goals, within the context of an integrated setting.
• Performs independently or as a part of a treatment team.
• Provides leadership and cohesion within the clinic environment, and may provide direct supervision to other professional and/or non-professional medical staff, and students.
• Participates in program evaluation procedures and professional record keeping, makes referrals appropriately for specialty and behavioral health care.
• Provides direct patient services not less than 85% of the work time.
• Employs therapeutic interventions appropriate for identified treatment issues.
• Sets appropriate patient files that conform to agency guidelines, best professional practice and State licensing regulations.

Requirements

• Certification Required: Arizona FNP License
• FNP Experience Preferred
• NextGen Experience is a PLUS

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)

Pay

Salary Range (based on 40 hours/week): MSN: $115K-$120K+ DOE; DNP: $129K

Schedule

Full-time: 4-10's
