Family Nurse Practitioner [Part-time] Position in Phoenix; 44th St/ Oak; 20 hours/week

About the role

Terros Health is hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for a clinic in the Phoenix area. This position is located at Oak Health Center in Phoenix, AZ and is an outpatient only role.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physicals/check-ups, medical evaluations, diagnostics, treats illnesses, orders lab tests, provides general and preventative care, prescribes and monitors medications, coordinates with other providers, makes specialty care referrals, educates patients about preventative care, establishes therapeutic relationships with a variety of patients for the purpose of establishing and reaching appropriate treatment goals, within the context of an integrated setting.
• Performs independently or as a part of a treatment team.
• Performs the important task of educating patients about preventative care, wellness activities and prescribed treatments.
• Provides leadership and cohesion within the clinic environment, and may provide direct supervision to other professional and/or non-professional medical staff, and students.
• Participates in program evaluation procedures and professional record keeping, makes referrals appropriately for specialty and behavioral health care.
• Provides direct patient services not less than 85% of the work time.
• Employs therapeutic interventions appropriate for identified treatment issues.
• Sets appropriate patient files that conform to agency guidelines, best professional practice and State licensing regulations.

Requirements

• Certification Required
• AZ FNP License Required
• FNP Experience Preferred
• NextGen Experience is PLUS

Qualifications

• MSN: $57,500-$62,000 DOE; DNP: $64,500-$65,000
• Additional Language Differential Pay Available: Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili or ASL: $3/hour
