About the Role
Patients First Immediate Care is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team. This position offers a desirable full-time schedule and competitive compensation. Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, incision & drainage (I&D), and wound care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, lab work, 12-lead EKG)
- Prescribe medications and therapies per state regulations and clinic protocols
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification
- Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience (preferred)
