Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute minor medical illness and minor acute exacerbations of chronic illness
• Perform minor office procedures, such as incision and drainage and laceration repair
• Perform wellness physicals, preoperative physicals, work-related physicals (such as DOT, pre-employment) and sports physicals
• Manage the patient's care in a timely manner and maintain a level of productivity that is equivalent to the other providers on staff
• Thoroughly and accurately document every patient encounter
• Order diagnostic labs/imaging as needed (point of care tests, x-ray, etc)

Qualifications

• Board Certified APRN (Family Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant
• New Grads - Experienced Providers all welcome to apply
• Ability to effectively communicate and work in conjunction with other CareFirst team members
