Family Nurse Practitioner ( Part-Time)

Responsibilities include providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities
- Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals for in-person and virtual visits.
- Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services.
- Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications, and ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Actively engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns, adhering to company values.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward them as appropriate.
- Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and supervising physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, prioritizing safety, cost, and accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA, and ensure all activities align with department expectations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-person clinic and virtual settings.
- Manage a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow-up.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions.
- Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality-of-care standards.

- Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care.
- Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
- Welcome and onboard new employees, including facilitating introductions, clinic tours, and process overviews.
- Assist new employees with learning activities, job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees to foster a positive work atmosphere.
- Perform the physical, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified in the physical demands.
- Comply with company standards of operations and promote a respectful culture of confidentiality.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- PRN Employees: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
- Full-Time Employees: Required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
- Ancillary Providers: Responsible for being on call periodically throughout the year.
Experience Levels and Requirements
- Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner.
- Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience.
- Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience.
- Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice (strongly preferred).
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current, active, and verifiable license and DEA registration in good standing with the proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; if limited by state law due to years of practice, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting state requirements.
- Must be able to treat patients of all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
- DOT certification required for full-time and part-time providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained during employment.
