About the Role

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality healthcare in both clinical and telehealth settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and safety. They lead clinic staff, review patient histories, perform diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and deliver patient education. The role requires adherence to protocols, compliance with federal and state regulations, and active participation in team communication and training.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent patient care across in-person and virtual platforms.
  • Lead and guide clinic staff to maintain professional standards.
  • Manage patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostics to develop accurate diagnoses.
  • Order tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment plans.
  • Ensure timely documentation, compliance with regulations, and participation in team meetings.
  • Support new employee onboarding and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Maintain a respectful, positive work environment and promote a culture of confidentiality.
  • Possibly perform on-call duties and meet physical demands of the role.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Active and valid nursing license; DEA registration; DOT certification within 120 days.
  • 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience; telehealth experience preferred.
  • Ability to treat all ages, work efficiently in fast-paced environments, and adapt to new protocols.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
