Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Part-time)
About the role
The Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is needed to work part-time in an Employee Advanced Practice Clinic in Waconia, MN. The clinic focuses on Primary and Acute Episodic Care, with a schedule of Monday-Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Treat injuries and illnesses following Evidence Based Medicine standards
- Build and maintain internal team relationships
- Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices
- Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinical issues
- Support client’s wellness and preventative programs
- Document and manage information using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
- Patient education regarding medical conditions and treatment options
- Patient coaching regarding healthy behaviors
Requirements
- A valid unrestricted state of Minnesota licensure
- A minimum of one year of primary care experience
- Current DEA & BLS certifications
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software
- A positive and outgoing personality, and be a collaborative team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with patients, clients and colleagues
- Willingness to go above and beyond to give excellent customer service
- Comfortable working in an on-site clinic environment
Qualifications
- Must have a valid unrestricted state of Minnesota licensure
- At least one year of primary care experience
- Current DEA & BLS certifications

Pay
The compensation for this role is starts at $64.00/hr based on experience.
