About the role

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality healthcare in both clinical and virtual settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to protocols. They lead clinic staff, review medical histories, diagnose conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and deliver patient education.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care, meet patient volume goals, and ensure timely documentation of patient charts.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols, analyze patient histories, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Lead and support team members, participate in training, and foster a positive, respectful work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members, including virtual consultations.
  • Support community outreach and participate in mandatory meetings and training.
  • Perform on-call duties and maintain necessary certifications, including DEA and DOT as required.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and active Family Nurse Practitioner license.
  • 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred, with experience in urgent care or similar settings advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, adapt to new technologies, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of clinical protocols, diagnostic procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Preferred experience in Telehealth and ability to treat all ages.
