Position Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care services to patients within our Pediatric and Primary Care departments in Freehold and Keyport, NJ, with a significant focus on pediatric care. This full-time role is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic conditions, delivering preventive care, and promoting patient wellness across the lifespan.
Principal Responsibilities
- Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
- Supports palliative care or hospice face to face evaluation services to individual and family clients within established productivity guidelines
- Provides client teaching to individuals and families when appropriate
- Maintains quality and appropriateness of services provided
- Identifies new services or programs relevant to agency’s mission and philosophy
- Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies and guidelines of primary care regulatory agencies
- Supervises staff in conjunction with the organization’s managerial and leadership practices
Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in NJ
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an NLN accredited program
- Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority; maintain a CDS and DEA
- 2+ years of primary or ambulatory care nursing experience required
- Business or management degree or experience preferred with demonstrated leadership skills

Pay
Compensation range: USD $120,000 to USD $146,000
