Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suture wounds and splint injuries.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Interpret x-rays under the supervision of a radiologist.
• Treat general dermatological issues.
• Provide general eye care.
• Perform general EKG interpretations.
• Manage emergency situations.
• Offer general Gynecological expertise.
• Treat children of all ages.
• Offer occupational medicine services.
• Provide telemedicine services.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (new graduates friendly!)
• DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (MainStreet covers the certification cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Schedule

MainStreet Clinic Hours: Open extended hours, 7-days-a-week: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.

Support for Rural Communities

We care for communities with little access to care. Most of our clinics qualify for tuition reimbursement grants or student loan reimbursement grants. This is a grant program funded by the state, and we are happy to support you in this application process to take advantage of these grant programs!

About the Role

MainStreet Family Care is growing and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full time. You will provide patient focused care to help our patients feel better FAST!
