Family Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities
- Maintain minor surgeries such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Suture wounds
- Splint injuries
- Perform general orthopedic evaluations and management
- Review and interpret X-rays under radiologist supervision
- Treat general dermatological issues
- Handle general eye problems
- Perform general EKG interpretations
- Manage emergency situations
- Provide general gynecological expertise
- Treat patients of all ages, including children
- Offer occupational medicine services
- Conduct telemedicine consultations
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (Montgomery, AL, Pelham, AL, Mobile, AL, Tallahassee, FL, Gainesville, FL, Wake Forest, NC, Greenville, NC, Chapel Hill, NC, Wilmington, NC, Winston-Salem, NC, Athens, GA, Augusta, GA and Columbus, GA): Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, floaters, etc.
About the Role
MainStreet Family Care is expanding its team of Family Nurse Practitioners to support urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services across multiple clinics in the region. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
