Family Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities
- Maintain minor surgery skills (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Suturing and splinting procedures
- Perform general orthopedic evaluations and management
- Interpret and review x-rays under radiologist supervision
- Treat general dermatology issues
- Manage general eye problems
- Perform general EKG interpretations
- Handle emergency medical situations
- Provide general gynecological expertise
- Treat patients of all ages
- Offer occupational medicine services
- Conduct telemedicine consultations
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
KidsStreet Clinic Hours (Montgomery, AL, Pelham, AL, Mobile, AL, Tallahassee, FL, Gainesville, FL, Wake Forest, NC, Greenville, NC, Chapel Hill, NC, Wilmington, NC, Winston-Salem, NC, Athens, GA, Augusta, GA and Columbus, GA): Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, floaters, etc.
About the Role
MainStreet Family Care is expanding its urgent care services across multiple clinics in East Alabama and West Georgia regions. This position involves providing patient-focused care in a fast-paced and high-volume urgent care setting, including minor surgeries, suture procedures, and general medical care.
