Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Maintain minor surgery skills (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suture wounds
• Splint injuries
• Perform general orthopedic evaluations and management
• Review and interpret X-rays under the supervision of a radiologist
• Treat general dermatological issues
• Diagnose and treat general eye problems
• Analyze and interpret general EKG results
• Manage emergency situations
• Provide general gynecological care
• Treat patients of all ages
• Offer occupational medicine services
• Conduct telemedicine consultations

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required
• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred
• Covid-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (Montgomery, AL, Pelham, AL, Mobile, AL, Tallahassee, FL, Gainesville, FL, Wake Forest, NC, Greenville, NC, Chapel Hill, NC, Wilmington, NC, Winston-Salem, NC, Athens, GA, Augusta, GA and Columbus, GA only):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, floaters, etc.
