Family Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities
- Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
- Treat conditions such as colds, flus, strep, COVID, and upper respiratory issues.
- Perform minor procedures like toenail removal and foreign object removal.
- Suture wounds and splint injuries.
- Evaluate and manage general orthopedic issues.
- Interpret x-rays under supervision of a radiologist.
- Treat general dermatological problems.
- Assess general eye health.
- Perform general EKG interpretations.
- Manage emergency situations.
- Provide general Gynecological expertise.
- Treat children of all ages.
- Offer occupational medicine services.
- Conduct telemedicine consultations.
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required (new graduates welcome).
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (MainStreet covers the cost).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (preferred).

About the Role
MainStreet Family Care is growing and seeks to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their team full-time. The position involves providing patient-focused care in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a small team and utilize their full scope of practice, including treating patients of all ages and managing various medical conditions.
Schedule
MainStreet Clinic operates 362 days a year, open 7-days-a-week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule rotates every other weekend, offering a mix of weekdays and weekends.
