Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals.
  • Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services.
  • Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications, and ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward them as appropriate.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to safety, cost, and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA and health information management guidelines.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-person clinic and virtual settings.
  • Pursue telehealth patient queues in a timely manner to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed continued quality of care standards.

  • Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome and onboard new employees, including facilitating introductions, clinic tours, and process overviews.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities, job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees to foster a positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform the physical, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified in the physical demands.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

PRN Employees: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.

Full-Time Employees: Required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Additional Requirements for Ancillary Providers: Responsible for on-call duties periodically throughout the year.

Experience Levels

  • Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Level 2: Nurse Practitioner with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience.
  • Level 3: Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience.
  • Level 4: Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice (strongly preferred).
  • License/Certification:
    • Active, verifiable license and DEA in good standing with the proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; if limited by years of practice under state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum state requirements.
    • Must be able to treat patients of all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
    • DOT certification required for Full-Time and Part-Time Providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained during employment.
