Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals.
• Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care.
• Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
• Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
• Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Elevate to management where appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
• Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate.
• Engage actively with clinical leadership to improve patient experience and care.
• Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
• Support new employees with learning activities and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice.
• Current License or Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner License, DEA, and DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Additional Requirements and responsibilities for Ancillary Providers: Responsible for on-call periodically throughout the year.
• Experience Levels: New Grad (1-2 years), Level 2 (1-5 years), Level 3 (5-10 years), Level 4 (10+ years).
