Family Medicine Residency Faculty Opportunity

Role Overview

This is a full-time faculty position in Family Medicine, focused on educating residents and medical students through outpatient clinics, inpatient newborn nursery supervision, and academic activities. The faculty member maintains a personal patient panel, supervises inpatient rounds, participates in didactic sessions, and engages in scholarly projects.

Responsibilities

• Remote supervision of after-hours clinic calls
• Contributing to program committees
• Providing evaluations of learners

Qualifications

• Hold an MD or DO
• Be board-certified in Family Medicine
• Possess a valid medical license
• Have experience in outpatient and inpatient care of diverse patient populations, including newborns
• Inpatient obstetrics coverage is not required but privileges in adult inpatient medicine are necessary if interested
• Certification in ACLS and NRP is required
• Candidates should be eligible for hospital privileges
