Role: Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty Responsibilities: Teach and mentor medical students in clinical and classroom settings, develop innovative educational experiences, maintain an outpatient Family Medicine practice, and contribute to program development, including laying the foundation for a future residency program. Collaborate with healthcare leaders to enhance medical education and clinical services. Qualifications & Skills: Expertise in Family Medicine, academic appointment at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level based on experience, and a commitment to medical education, innovation, and clinical practice. Strong leadership, collaboration, and teaching skills are essential. Key Duties: Shape the future of Family Medicine education in South Texas, support expansion into the San Antonio market, and contribute to a growing academic-health system partnership. Engage in program development, teaching, and clinical practice while pursuing academic interests.
