Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at various facilities
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies for wound management
- Document clinical encounters in real-time during rounds using proprietary EMR
- Manage care for 20-30 patients daily while visiting 2-3 facilities
- Participate in paid training and a six-month wound care fellowship
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
- Desire to specialize in wound management
- Strong patient care focus
- Ability to work independently in a mobile practice
