Job Duties
- Teaching, mentoring, and inspiring future family medicine providers in a supportive, innovative environment.
- Curriculum development.
- Support resident recruitment, didactic instruction, and simulation training.
- Opportunity to precept a resident-led Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) clinic.
- 60% FTE dedicated to resident teaching.
- No inpatient or OB coverage.
- Faculty appointment with Geisinger College of Health Sciences.
Position Details
Education and Experience Requirements: Applicants must have at least two years of clinical experience treating patients of all ages and be ABFM or AOBFM board certified. Prior teaching experience (residents and/or students) is preferred.
Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Certification(s) and License(s): Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania.
Skills: Patient Care and Procedural Skills; Systems-Based Practice; Professional Etiquette.
