About the Opportunity
Medical Associates Plus is a unique and successful FQHC offering a secure workforce and growth opportunity. We offer our patients a wide range of specialty services and have 19 locations uniquely positioned to serve Augusta and the surrounding areas. This multi-specialty practice consists of 85 total providers in Georgia and South Carolina across 26 locations. Currently seeing 15 to 20 patients per day with supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The EMR system used is ECW.
Responsibilities
- Provide family medicine care without OB services
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- See 15 to 20 patients per day
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Must have a Georgia medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting
Both experienced physicians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

About the Facility
Doctors Hospital of Augusta is a full-service, 354-bed acute care hospital serving the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). It is a Level II Trauma Center and Bariatric Center of Excellence, accredited by the American College of Surgeons. The hospital is also accredited by the Commission on Cancer and certified in Primary Stroke Care, Stroke Rehab, and Total Joint Care by the Joint Commission.
Doctors Hospital is the only facility in the CSRA with 5 daVinci robotic systems, including 2 dV5’s and 3 Xi’s, leading the way in robotic surgery, advanced orthopedic procedures, emergency care, general and vascular surgery, and women’s services. The hospital was recognized by Healthgrades as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals in Surgical Care for 2026.
The hospital operates the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, the largest burn center in the United States, providing complex and comprehensive burn and wound care for over 3,000 patients annually. Additionally, Doctors Hospital opened the first free-standing emergency room in Augusta in 2025, Evans Emergency, which is only the second of its kind in Georgia.
