Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Family Medicine Physician in Frankfort, KY, you will provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages, including preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and referring patients to specialists when necessary, essentially acting as the primary healthcare provider for individuals and families across the lifespan.

To be successful in your role, you will strategically deliver comprehensive primary care, including preventive care, acute illness treatment, and management of chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) for patients of all ages. You will also provide wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations to support disease prevention, counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families, maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilize EPIC appropriately, provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations, participate in primary care division activities, including peer review programs, quality metric improvement, and policy development, and offer includes competitive salary guarantee for up to 3 years and a lucrative production model after the guarantee period. Additional quality-based bonus up to $200,000 in recruiting incentives including sign-on bonus, student loan assistance, residency bonus, and relocation assistance.

Highlights Of This Role:

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately.
  • Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations.

Job Requirements

Board-Eligible/Board-Certified
Active or eligible license in the state of Kentucky
