About the Role
Seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) for primary care in a correctional facility setting. Provide clinic-based primary care services to adult patients, managing chronic and acute conditions.
Schedule
Work Monday through Friday, with potential for four 10-hour shifts, handling approximately 18-20 patients daily.
Responsibilities
- Patient evaluations
- Chronic disease management
- Acute illness treatment
- Collaborate with support staff including RNs and LPNs in a structured clinical environment
Qualifications
- Virginia PA license
- DEA registration
- Prescriptive authority
- Optional board certification
- Credentialing is estimated at two weeks
