About the role
This position involves providing outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients within a correctional facility in a structured healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of 5-8 patients daily, addressing injury management, acute illnesses, follow-up visits, physicals, complex chronic care, urgent care, and minor procedures.
Qualifications
- BLS
- Washington state medical license
- DEA registration
- COVID vaccination
- Prescriptive authority
Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine is negotiable.
Skills
Clinical responsibilities are performed on-site in a correctional environment, with an emphasis on structured workflows suited to correctional healthcare.
Schedule
Clinicians will work either four 10-hour shifts or Monday through Friday, with no call required.
