About the role
The facility is seeking a Family Medicine/Primary Care APP for locum tenens support.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients with a variety of conditions under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Manage patient health records using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Provide preventive care services such as immunizations and screenings.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Board Certified.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) licensure.
- Credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maine.
- Experience in outpatient family medicine or primary care settings.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
