Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient primary care position is for a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide quality care across all ages in a Federally Qualified Health Center. The role offers a collaborative environment with support staff including MDs, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), ensuring comprehensive patient care.

The ideal candidate should have relevant clinical experience and be comfortable working in a structured outpatient setting. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking a consistent outpatient role with a focus on diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage primary care and minor acute conditions.
• Provide care for a caseload of approximately 2-3 patients per hour (19-24 patients daily).

Requirements

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Prescriptive authority.
• No call coverage required.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday.
