About the Role
This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) providing primary care and behavioral health services in a residential substance abuse treatment facility.
The work environment is an on-site clinic with a full Behavioral Health team, supporting coordinated clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care to adult patients
- Manage a caseload of 5-7 admissions daily
- Handle 10-15 sick calls daily
- Provide limited call coverage for nurse questions
- Participate in coordinated clinical operations within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in residential substance abuse treatment
- Prescriptive authority
Skills
- Ability to manage patient admissions and sick calls efficiently
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to handle a schedule of 25-30 hours per week
