Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for outpatient primary care in a community health setting. The role involves providing services to patients of all ages, with a caseload of approximately 21 patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient community health setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
• BLS certification.
• Current COVID and flu vaccinations.
• Hold or be eligible for board certification or eligibility.
• Active NY Medicaid number.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with administrative and lunch breaks. No call duties.

Support

• Support staff includes an LPN and MA.
• Credentialing typically completed within one week for eligible clinicians.
