MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine - Portland is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join our Family Medicine team in Portland, Maine. Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services including preventive care, health maintenance, acute illness evaluation, and chronic disease management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, care managers, and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Promote evidence-based practices and quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in practice and organizational quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program
- Current or eligible licensure in the State of Maine
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate
- Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred, new grads considered
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based care skills
Pay
The pay range for this position is $113,900 to $147,400 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.
