About the role
Join the team at AMG Gateway, where you will drive the expansion of individualized primary care services in the West Allis community by diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions within a supportive, close-knit team environment. Join an established team of 4 physicians and 1 APP. Practice setting: Outpatient. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
The facility serves a population of approximately 60,000 with an integrated referral network and is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by diagnosing, managing, and treating acute and chronic health conditions to optimize health outcomes for individuals and families in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Drive clinical collaboration by working alongside physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure smooth care coordination and continuity across the network.
- Maintain detailed, accurate health records in accordance with specialty standards and organizational policies to ensure patient safety and top‑tier quality of care.
- No call required.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing (obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date).
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing (obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date).
- Preferred: BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- No prior work experience required.
