MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine - Portland is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join their team. This opportunity allows you to work in an outpatient family medicine practice, providing comprehensive care for patients across all stages of life. You will collaborate with experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services including preventive care, health maintenance, acute illness evaluation, and chronic disease management
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, care managers, and specialists to coordinate patient care
• Promote evidence-based practices and quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in practice and organizational quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program
• Current or eligible licensure in the State of Maine
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate
• Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred, new grads considered
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based care skills
