Family Medicine – Float Pool – PA/NP

About the role

The University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a full-time float pool, Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider. High caliber, quality focused, innovative providers are encouraged to apply to join our Primary Care team to expand and provide care to local communities in West Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients
• Diagnosing and treating health conditions
• Providing primary, acute, chronic, and specialty care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Supporting and upholding the principles, mission, and vision of University of Michigan Health-West
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

• Confident in providing virtual care when appropriate
• Experience working with culturally diverse patients
• Fluency in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Nepali, or Bosnian

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR)

Schedule
