About the role
Seeking a qualified DNP for a correctional facility clinic role to provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a patient load of approximately 18-20 per day, including evaluations, chronic condition management, and treatment of acute illnesses.
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize established correctional healthcare protocols.
Requirements
- Current state license
- DEA registration
- Board certification
- Prescriptive authority
Qualifications
- Board-certified in relevant specialty
- Experience in primary care and correctional healthcare preferred
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary support team, including RNs and LPNs
- Strong documentation and clinical evaluation skills
Work Environment
Enjoy a supportive work environment in a facility that emphasizes safety and professionalism, with credentialing typically completed in two weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, potentially four 10-hour shifts, with no call responsibilities.
