Overview of the Role: This outpatient DNP position involves providing primary care services within a correctional facility to an adult patient population. Key Responsibilities Deliver outpatient primary care in a structured correctional environmentManage an expected caseload of 16-18 patients per dayEvaluate and treat primary care conditionsWork Monday through Friday with flexible shift options (3 x 12-hour or 4 x 10-hour shifts)Possibly work on Saturdays, though not required Qualifications & Skills State DNP license, DEA registration, ACLS, CPR, and prescriptive authority requiredBoard certification is negotiableStrong clinical assessment and management skills within a correctional setting Work Environment & Support: Full correctional support staff and on-site nurse practitioners support daily operations.
