About the role
Family Medicine physician in a clinic setting, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from infants to retirees.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Conduct physical exams
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Promote wellness and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals
- Order and interpret tests
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Manage 8-14 patients per shift
- Document using Elation EMR
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico (NM) license required
- Full-spectrum family medicine practice
- Opportunities for internal medicine providers to see patients 18+
- FNPs can see pediatric patients
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with no late clinics, calls, or after-hours charting. No call responsibilities. The site operates within a true value-based care model, with no fee-for-service or RVUs.
