About the role
UNC Primary Care at Freedom Square is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing primary care team. Located off Green Level Church Road in Apex, NC, the clinic provides comprehensive, family-centered care with convenient access for both families and working professionals.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive preventive healthcare
- Acute and sick care
- Annual physicals and wellness visits
- Immunizations
- Women’s health services
- Management of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Routine screening and diagnostic testing
Requirements
- Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)
- Active North Carolina license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina
- Board certification if required by the Department
- DEA
