Job Summary

As our Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will deliver exceptional primary care in an outpatient-only setting within our Maricopa Clinic in Phoenix. This role offers unparalleled work-life balance within a supportive Dignity Health Medical Group environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate and expert care through thorough assessments and development of individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively, exhibit strong interpersonal skills, and educate patients about their care.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Be tech-savvy and adaptable, quickly learning and applying new technologies, particularly in telehealth/virtual care delivery.
  • Assess conditions virtually and conduct physical examinations when necessary, ensuring flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular After-hours Outpatient Call (by telephone only) with minimal impact (3-4 weeks/year).
  • Manage administrative tasks such as taking care of the "tail" of practice, engaging in teaching, quality improvement, and service-related activities.
  • Participate in teaching students (Physician Assistant Studies, Nurse Practitioner students, Medical Students as applicable) when caring for patients.
  • Engage in both sponsor and investigator-initiated research projects.

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Arizona.
  • Current national board certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA).
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Family Medicine or Primary Care.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems; experience with Cerner is a plus.

Pay
