Family Law Paralegal (Mid Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to provide critical legal support to attorneys in our fathers’ rights practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and assist in case analysis.
• Prepare, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
• Aid attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing case materials, drafting motions, and preparing witness lists.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other involved parties.
• Manage case files and documents, ensuring accurate organization and maintenance of physical and electronic records.
• Support attorneys in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the family law field.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
