Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery materials
- Manage case files, discovery, deadlines, and court calendars
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for attorneys
- File documents with NY and NJ courts and coordinate with courts and counsel
- Communicate professionally with clients throughout their matters
Requirements
- 4-7 years of family law paralegal experience
- Hands-on NY and NJ Court Experience
- Strong drafting, research, and case management skills
- Proficiency with legal practice management software
- Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program preferred
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
