Family Law Paralegal

Compensation: $75,000 - $110,000 + Annual Bonus + Overtime Eligibility, Full Benefits Job Description We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to support a highly respected family law practice in Dallas. This position works directly with a Partner and plays a critical role in managing complex family law matters from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced handling high-volume family law cases in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Support attorneys throughout all phases of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, and enforcement actions.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents.Manage case files, deadlines, court filings, and attorney calendars.Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings.Review and summarize financial documents, including tax returns, bank records, and asset documentation.Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other case materials.Assist with trial preparation and courtroom support.Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely follow-up on all matters. Qualifications 3+ years of family law paralegal experience preferred.Strong knowledge of Texas family law procedures and court rules.Experience managing a busy caseload in a law firm environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills.Experience with Texas e-filing systems preferred.Trial preparation and litigation support experience is a plus.Paralegal certificate preferred but not required. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.Early office closure on Fridays at 3:00 PM.Initially 100% in-office.Hybrid schedule available after approximately 4-5 months (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
