Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse family law caseload, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-decree matters
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and contested proceedings
• Develop strategic litigation plans tailored to each client's goals and circumstances
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery, and settlement agreements with exceptional attention to detail
• Negotiate favorable resolutions while preparing every case for successful litigation when necessary
• Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication, practical guidance, and compassionate advocacy
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal support professionals in a highly accountable, team-oriented environment
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional excellence

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota law license in good standing
• Experience handling Minnesota family law matters, including contested litigation
• Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills
• Excellent legal writing, organization, and case management abilities
• Exceptional communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
