Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse family law caseload, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-decree matters
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and contested proceedings
- Develop strategic litigation plans tailored to each client's goals and circumstances
- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery, and settlement agreements with exceptional attention to detail
- Negotiate favorable resolutions while preparing every case for successful litigation when necessary
- Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication, practical guidance, and compassionate advocacy
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal support professionals in a highly accountable, team-oriented environment
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional excellence
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota law license in good standing
- Experience handling Minnesota family law matters, including contested litigation
- Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills
- Excellent legal writing, organization, and case management abilities
- Exceptional communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
